Using the Physician Letter to Overcome Recruitment Barriers

As a reminder, informing the primary physician of your potential recruit can help to encourage an open dialogue with those who are not aware of the trial, or who may require further information regarding the use of metformin in pregnancy.  By informing the primary physician, we enable a greater understanding of our research question, and emphasize the need for research based evidence to answer this important question.

A special thank you to Dr. Donovan for using our template to successfully overcome recruitment barriers, and for reminding us of the efficacy of this useful tool.
